On Wednesday February 3rd, 2009 our garage door spring broke. My wife called you yesterday and scheduled an appointment. Minutes ago my wife called me in the office, Mark and his assistant showed up on time 9:15am, 30 minutes later they were done. Professional, kind, respectful, a real breath of fresh air in a world where the customer service has gone out the window.
Evidently, you guys get it. I will tell any and all to call your company when they have a problem with a garage door. They even replaced the light bulb in the garage door opener motor housing. That's going the extra mile.

I telephoned Deluxe Door Systems (614-840-0207) on Thursday, January 14th, shortly after noon. I was in a bit of a panic. I had just returned home from a walk, came in through the garage, closed the garage door and heard a very loud noise. I looked around, trying to figure out what could have possibly made the noise and noticed that one of the springs on my garage door had broken in half. My car was in the garage, with the garage door down, I tried to lift the door - with no luck at all and realized that my kids would be home from school shortly and the evening run to their activities would be very difficult without the car! I telephoned the number on our garage door and was given the 3 agencies that service our brand of door. I tried Deluxe first and was greeted by the most friendly, accommodating, helpful and understanding individual (Scott). I shared my dilemma w/him and asked if there was any way possible to get a service technician to our home before 4:30 that afternoon. Scott did some checking and came back on line to notify me that would definitely be a possibility! Lisa dispatched the service men and in less than an hour Mark and Anthony arrived at my home. They were polite, friendly, efficient and quick! They opened the garage door, so that I could pull the car out and replaced the spring within a half an hour! You should be incredibly proud of your staff . . . I will recommend you to everyone in our neighborhood!

Bill and I just wanted to thank everyone at Deluxe Door Systems for a positive experience from picking out the door that would best compliment our home to having it installed.
Our first contact was via email sent late one evening to Lisa and I was pleasantly surprised to see a reply sitting in my inbox when I opened my computer at 8:00 AM the following morning. It only got better from there. We visited the showroom, picked out the door, arranged for measuring and everything went as smooth as clockwork. The day of installation was quite cold and yet Nick did a superb and efficient job and then took the timeto demonstrate the features of our new Liftmaster door opener.
The temperature in the garage has gone up substantially even in the bitter cold weather we are currently experiencing and most often registers 39°.
I have to say the only complaint has come from our grown children. They wonder why we waited so long to install such a quiet garage door opener. They would have had a better chance at sneaking in late at night with this one since the old one was loud enough to wake the dead, comparatively speaking.

Hello I called your company because I was having trouble with my garage door opener and thank God you have a employee named Lisa instead of trying to sell me the Brooklyn Bridge she told me a few easy steps to reprogram my opener and it works like new The world could use alot more Lisa's whenever I hear of someone needing any services that you provide I will be your free billboard thanks again and your name said it all you are Deluxe in my book!

Hear what other customers are saying: Worthington, Ohio Garage doors One of the springs on our garage door broke. I called the company and they told me exactly how much it would cost to replace both springs ($215 with a $10 coupon from Angie's List). They were able to send someone out within a matter of hours. The service tech arrived within the time window, and he called ahead to say he was on his way. While he was here, he performed a 15-point safety inspection and discovered that the bearings on some of the rollers were going bad -- not surprising considering the garage door is 45 + years old. He quoted $10 per roller, or $85 to replace all 10 of them; I told him to replace all of them (Turns out, the price for this actually turned out to be $75 -- a nice surprise!) He also lubricated the door as part of his service. Service tech was very professional. I was extremely pleased with the work done and would definitely use this company again.

Westerville, Ohio Garage doors My garage door had been acting up (partially opening and closing) for a week or so, but I was putting off dealing with it because I was espcially busy getting ready to go out of town. One day I came home from work and the door didn't open at all. I called and much to my surpise they had someone in the area and asked whether they could come out that day. I couldn't have been more pleased...it was more than I'd every expected. Member Comments: They called ahead as they were nearing completion of their last call and arrived when promised. I'm no garage door expert, but the technician who came seemed thorough and efficient and he quickly determined that my circuit board had gone bad. It was replaced and a safey check was done in about an hour. This was quite a relief since I was then able to go out of town to a conference without worryout about my garage door exhibiting a mind of its own. |

Upper Arlington, Ohio Garage doors Description Of Work: Repaired the tension spring and then replaced the door and opener. Member Comments: These guys are great. It started out when I came out in the morning and noticed that the garage door wouldn't open and then saw that the tension spring was broken. I looked up some companies on Angies List and called a few of them. I got in contact with Deluxe Door Systems and spoke with, l believe, Lisa. She was very nice and knowledgeable. She let me know that they could come to the house that day to do a replacement or repair. After discussing that I was thinking of getting a new door in the near future, we went with the option of temporarily fixing the spring. They were on time and the technicians were very polite and friendly. They went as far as to explaining everything about the system I had and made sure it was in working order before they left. The door actually worked better than before. I called them back and spoke with Byrum. I asked if I could come in to see some door samples etc. When I got there he was great. It was exactly an atmosphere that I would want to see. Everyone was working and friendly and made me feel comfortable. They were not pushy at all. After pricing garage doors in the past, I decided right then and there to put an order in. I wanted to surprise my wife for when she got back from being out of town and asked if they could have it installed ASAP. Byrum was very accommodating and said that the door would be installed on Tuesday. This all happened on a Friday evening! After considering an opener, I called Byrum back on the following Monday and asked if they could include an opener for the door and install it at the same time. He said no problem. I asked that they would call before they get to the house so that I could be there. Tueday morning I got a call from Lisa. She said that the installer was running a bit behind but would be at the house in a few hours. I really appreciated the heads up. The installer called before he got there. He took down the old door and put up the new one, along with the new opener. I was very pleased with the work that was done. I had a few questions about how the door functioned and the installer came back out the very next day to check things out and explain what the opener was doing. Everyone was great from Lisa to the technicians that fixed the spring, Byrum was awesome, and the installer did a great job. I am very pleased with my door and how it looks. My neighbors have noticed and said that they are also going to look into Deluxe Door Systems in the near future. I would definitely recommend them to all my friends, neighbors, and familiy. Everyone did a great job. Way to go guys. |

Hilliard, Ohio Garage doors They fixed a door opener spring that was broken. Member Comments: We couldn't get out of our garage this morning, and we called one person who said they would not be able to get to us until tomorrow. We needed to get out right away so we called Deluxe, who said they had someone out on the road who they could send our way. They were out within an hour. He was very quick and got us out of the garage in time to get to class. We actually called a cab and were gone before the cab got here. The springs have a lifetime warranty, so I thought the price seemed fair, although we did not get a chance to compare prices. The guy who came out was very professional, polite, and focused on the job. We were very happy with them. |

North End, Columbus, Ohio Garage doors My garage door wouldn't close when I used the opener, it just moved an inch and them stopped and the light flashed off & on. I opened & closed it manually and called Deluxe for help. He knew immediately what was wrong as soon as I showed him what it was doing, the sensors were out of alignment. Member Comments: Everything was great, I called Tuesday afternoon & them came out Wednesday morning. They called ahead to say they were on their way & since they showed up on the early side of the window they gave me & it was such a quick fix I didn't miss much work. They reset the sensors & made sure they were really secure, lubed all the springs & wheels, tightened all the screws on the door. He showed me a lot I didn't know & explained how to save on a service call the next time something simple happens, which I appreciated. He also measured the door & gave me all the numbers I would need to order a new one when I get around to that. |
Galloway, Ohio Garage Doors 1 cable realigned, adjusted spring, tightened chain, replaced 10 rollers & greased the cable. Member Comments: The garage door started making a loud grounding sound when opening & closing. I called & was able to get it checked the next day. Arrived promptly & determined the rollers were worn & needed grease. Replaced rollers & put grease as needed. Much quieter than it ever was. Pleased with service. |

I shopped around for the specific doors we wanted, and their price couldn't be beat. Plus their staff was very friendly and professional, and the quality of the work was excellent. The only reason I gave them a "B" for responsiveness was because we initially spent a few days going back and forth playing phone tag to get the original quote. I found out later you never want to mess with the springs on a garage door as it can be real dangerous. I went to Angie's List and Deluxe doors was highly rated so I emailed them as it was late one night. Member Comments: The next morning at about 8:00am I got a call and the lady I spoke with was very nice and said they could have some come out the next day between 8am-12pm. I had asked if they could call ahead 30 minutes before they would come. She said no problem. Today they called and once they arrived they finished the job in about 20 minutes. Delaware, Ohio Garage doors Deluxe installed 2 garage door openers. All went smoothly. However, I had problems with transmission range using the remotes. Now here is where a company makes or breaks a reputation--solving a difficult problem. I'm pleased to report that Deluxe came through with flying colors. After trying switching the remotes they replaced the board to a different frequency and it worked. I am now a very satisfied customer and in position to recommend Deluxe! New Albany, Ohio Garage doors Our garage door would start to close a little and then it would reverse itself and open a little. We had to unhook it and open and close the garage door manually. We called Deluxe Door Systems for service. We were told to expect service between 1 PM and 4 PM that day. However, Deluxe Door Systems called back to ask if a service person could come within a half hour. We were delighted. Once we explained the problem, they knew immediately what was wrong. They set to work right away. After installing the new part, they tested the door to see if it door moved as it was suppose to. When the men were finished, they presented the bill, explained the charges, and took the Angie's list coupon off the total. We would use Deluxe Door Systems again. It is nice to find a good company! |

I searched Angie's List for garage door repairs. I called Deluxe Doors. The representative was friendly and helpful. They came the next day. I had a small window of an hour and a half that I was going to be home. They arrived right on time and were done in 30 minutes. They also did some preventative maintenance on the garage door opener. |

Went great. I called and left a message. They returned my call in a few minutes and came out about an hour later. He gave me a quote and started the job. He was done in about 20 minutes. |
